Can I use the planning package to build a Leanhaus if I engage an external design firm to create the construction drawings?

The Planning Package does not grant a license to build a Leanhaus. Any derivative work violates our Terms and Conditions. You can purchase the Building Package which grants you a license to build the design

What is the difference between informational drawings and construction drawings?

Informational drawings include basic dimensions for floorplans and elevations. This level of detail allows to get an opinion of cost from a home builder.
Construction drawings include detailed dimensions and details necessary to build your Leanhaus.

Is Leanhaus a pre-fab company?

Leanhaus homes are not prefab; they are built on-site either from sticks or from timber frames. Stick-built homes, in our experience, provide superior design and build quality over prefab options. Prefab homes have constraints due to transportation and often have hidden costs related to shipping and installation. In contrast, Leanhaus focuses on delivering intentional designs and high-quality materials to build top-tier homes at a reasonable cost.
